QUÉBEC (REEL), THE. Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was popularized by 'Down-East' radio and TV fiddler and bandleader Don Messer (1909-1973), who played it in broadcasts in the mid-1940's.
