Composed in the late 1980's by Donald Shaw, a Scottish musician, composer, producer, and one of the founding members of the group Capercaillie. The tune was written for another founding member of the group, Martin MacLeod, who had left the group for other pursuits. Shaw is known for his accordion and keyboard playing with the group.
