LARRY DOWNS' REEL. AKA and see "Calum Fhionnlaith," "Jerry Holland's Reel (2)," "Malcolm Finlay's Reel." American (?), Reel. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Known usually as "Malcolm Finlay", this tune is a Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, standard. The "Larry Downs'" title is unique to the Elias Howe publications (Boston, 19th century).
