KITTY IN THE LANE [3]. Irish, Barndance. Ireland, County Donegal. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BA'A"CC. The second part is in 3/4 time. Teelin, County Donegal, fiddler Con Cassidy had the tune from "an old lady from above," originally from "across the water" from the parish of Kilcar, and who lilted the melody in front of the fire when she was feeling good [Feldman & O'Doherty].
