MACDONALD'S REEL [2]. AKA and see "Charlie If You Would Only Come," "Charlie's Welcome (2)," "Flora MacDonald," "Miss Flora McDonald's Reel," "Miss Macdonald's Reel (4)," "Thearlaich! Nan Tigeadh Tu (1)." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears under this title in the 1770 music manuscript of Northumbrian musician William Vickers [1], about whom unfortunately nothing is known.
