Back to MacKenzie Highlanders
MACKENZIE HIGHLANDERS. AKA - "McKenzie Highlanders." Scottish, March (2/4 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'.
The march is associated with several Scottish regiments, used for dress for parade by the 78th Highlanders, and, in 1912, for the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Seaforth Highlanders. It was used for officer's dress for parade for the Queens Own Highlanders.
