Similarities (especially in the first part) with flute player Josie McDermott's "Lansdowne Lass," and with "Slate Roof (The)" in Martin Mulvihill's 1986 1st Collection. The melody appears in Bulmer and Sharpley's Music from Ireland, vol. IV (1976) under the title "Mick O'Connor's Reel" (the name of their source, who actually had the tune from the composer, Paddy Taylor).
