Back to Loddie
LODDIE. AKA and see "Bottom of the Punch Bowl (2) (The)," "Fairy Reel (2) (The)," "Ferries Reel (Da)." Shetland, Shetland Reel. The tune has been in the repertory of the Shetland Fiddle Band, and is a widely known reel in the Shetlands. It is a version of "Fairy Reel (2) (The)" or "Ferry Reel (Da) from Cullivoe. "Ferrie Reel" is also the name of a different version.
