LANDLORD FILL THE FLOWING BOWL. AKA and see "For Tonight We'll Merry Merry Be." English, Air. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The chorus of this convivial drinking song goes:

Come landlord fill the flowing bowl
Until it doth run over.
Come landlord fill the flowing bowl
Until it doth run over.
For tonight we'll merry merry be
For tonight we'll merry merry be
For tonight we'll merry merry be
Tomorrow we'll be sober.

The song has been a favorite of college glea teams for two centuries, and it appears in numerous college songbooks and similar collections (c.f. The Scottish Students' Song Book, published by Bayley & Ferguson, 1891, pp. 186-87)".
