CHANTIERS, LES. French-Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. From the repertoire of highly influential Québec fiddler Joseph Allard (1873-1947), born in Woodland, near Montréal. Allard lived in New England for many years as an adolescent and young man, winning many fiddle contests in the region.
