MOTHER'S DAY WALTZ [1]. Canadian, Waltz. F Major ('A' part) & C Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was popularized by the renowned Canadian radio and TV fiddler Don Messer [1] (1909-1973).
However, it was written by fiddler and composer John Durocher (1934–1989), of Sarnia, Ontario [for whom see: “John Durocher: A Gifted Composer.” Fiddler Magazine 12, no. 2 (2005): 25–27.
