BOY(S) ON THE HILLTOP, THE (Na Buachaillí ar Bharr an Chnoic). AKA - "Boy on the Hilltop." AKA and see "Hilltop (The)," "Micho Russell's Reel (4)." Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was first recorded by Sligo fiddlers Paddy Killoran and Paddy Sweeney in New York in 1931, the 2nd tune following "Mullingar Races (1) (The)."
