QUICK STEP 4TH REGIMENT. English, Scottish; March (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The British 4th Regiment of Foot was the King's Own, stationed in America during the first three years of the War of Independence. In 1778 it was among the troops sent from New York to the West Indies, and to return to England in 1780.
