JUST FROM THE FOUNTAIN. AKA and see "Back to the Fountain." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Missouri. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. There is an old hymn (collected in the tradition not far from where source Galbraith lived, among other places) that is similarly titled: "I'm Drinking from the Fountain," "I'm Just from the Fountain" or "I've Just Come from the Fountain." However, there is no melodic material shared.

Source for notated version: Art Galbraith (Springfield, Mo.) [Phillips].

Printed sources: Phillips (Traditional American Fiddle Tunes), vol. 2, 1995; p. 70.

Recorded sources: Rounder 0157, Art Galbraith - "Simple Pleasures."
