CHURCH HILL [2], THE (Cnocán an Teampaill). AKA and see "Kitty the rag, I'm in love with you," "Mhairseail Alasdruim," "Cath Chnoc na nDos." Irish, Double Jig. A Dorian/E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A variation of O'Neill's Talk:Church Hill (2). Breathnach (1976) reports that Kerry fiddler Dennis Murphy's title for the tune was "Kitty the rag, I'm in love with you." He also says it is the "last part" of "MacAlisdrum's March" or "Máirseáil Alasdruim" (Alasdruim's March) or "Cath Chnoc na nDos" (literally 'the battle of the bushy hill'). See also "Hag at the Churn."
