CHICKENS AND ASPARAGUS. English, Country Dance (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was first published in John Walsh's The Third Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (London, 1735) and in his The Compleat Country Dancing-Master.
