NEW STORACE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune appears in London publisher W. Campbell's 5th. Collection of Favorite Country Dances and Reels (1790), and Thomas Preston's 1793 country dance collection. It was also entered into the c. 1800 music copybook of musician William Patten (perhaps from Philadelphia, Pa.).
