EARLY RISING (An Moceirig). AKA and see "Belles of Lewiston," "Blue Eyed Lassie (1)," "Lewis’s Reel." Irish, American; Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. The tune appears as "Lewis’s Reel" in George Saunders' 1847 violin tutor, wherein he attributes it to himself. William Bradbury Ryan printed it as "Belles of Lewiston."
