The tune was published in Alexander Will's Ten New Fashionable Irish Dances...& three Favorite Waltzs's (London, 1800, p. 17) as "Nunrich Fair; or, The Princes Frolick." Glasgow publisher James Aird printed the melody under the title "Wood Nunrich Fair" in his Selections of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. 1 (1782).
