OLD GRAY EAGLE. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; Oklahoma, Arkansas. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. A close variant of "Gray Eagle (1)." Source Cecil Snow lived in Washington state for a time, and musicians there have also picked up the "key of 'A'" variant of "Gray Eagle," usually played in 'C' major.
