AABBAABBCCDDAA (Phillips): ABACDEBABECDE (Titon). The original title may perhaps be "Old Sage Friend," not "Old Sage Fields." The latter title comes from Kentucky fiddler Jim Bowles (1903-1993) who learned the tune from local musicians, and it was also in the repertoire of Kentucky fiddler Sammy Walker.
