LADY HARRIET LEE'S WALTZ. AKA and see "Lady Caroline Lee's Waltz." English, Waltz (3/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABABC. The melody appears under the "Lady Harriet" title in Button & Whitaker's Selection of Dances, Reels, Waltzes No. 1, an undated publication from the early 19th century, and the title seems unique to that collection. However, it appears as "Lady Caroline Lee's Waltz" in several printed publications and musicians' manuscript collections of the period.
