CARNANBAN. AKA and see "Kieran Kelly's Reel," "Old Pigeon on the Gate." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Randy Miller (2006) suggests: "The title is possible a corruption of the name King Carnabon of Thrace. Carnabon was known in Greek mythology as the Serpent-Holder, the alternate name for the constellation Ophiuchus."
