Irish, Reel. G Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is descended from a country dance tune printed in London by John Walsh entitled "Collier's Daughter (The), AKA "Collier's Lass (The)" and "Duke of Rutland's Delight (The), which developed into the reel "Nine Pint Coggie (1) (The)" AKA "Nine Point Coggie" (although the "Nine Pint..." title is also used for another tune). Fiddler Hugh Gillespie recorded it as "Mullingar Lee (The)" in the 78 RPM era.
