Composed by the late Cape Breton musician biography:Gordon F. MacQuarrie, who, in 1940 published the Cape Breton Collection of Scottish Melodies, the first published collection of Cape Breton fiddling. MacQuarrie also wrote "Miss Margaret MacDougall", presumably for the same person.
