POOR OULD WOMAN [1] (An Sean Bean Bhocht). AKA – “Poor Old Woman,” “Poor Auld Woman.” AKA and see "Jerry Daly's Hornpipe." Irish (originally), New England; Reel. A Dorian (most versions): G Dorian (Levey). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Kerr lists the tune as an “Irish Reel.” It has the same melodic contours as does “Loch Leven Castle”/Tomraney Castle (1)."
