Back to Whistler's Waltz (1)
WHISTLER'S WALTZ [1]. Old Time, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. A modern composition (1966) attributed to fiddler Lloyd Wanzer, Weiser (Idaho). The tune was popularized, recalls Phil Williams [1], by a number of fiddlers in the 1970's at Weiser, including Wanzer, Harold Allen, Bill Yohey and Don Gish and others in the nineteen-seventies.
