KING OF THE PIPERS [3] (Rí na bPíobairí). AKA - "Paddy Gallagher's." Irish, Double Jig. Ireland, County Donegal. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BCC’. The third of the county Donegal tunes, all different, by this name. This complex "King of the Pipers" was the signature tune of fiddler Paddy "The Tae" Gallagher (d. 1980's) of Ardara, Donegal.
