MAJOR SHANLY. Irish, Air or Planxty (cut time). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). O'Sullivan gives a few candidates for the person of the title, but no conclusions.
