The melody appears to be a variant belonging to the "Bonaparte Crossing the Rhine (1)" tune family. The tune was entered into the c. 1812 music manuscript collection of William Calvert, Leyburn, Yorkshire, and, more than a generation later in the collection of Lawrence Leadley, Helperby, Yorkshire.
