BARNEY O'NEILL (Brian Ua Neill). AKA and see "Doctor O'Neill (2)." Irish, Double Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig is a member of the "Young Tim Murphy," "Kitty Lie Over" tune family. A variant appears in the James Goodman (1828-1896) manuscripts under the title "Doctor O'Neill."
