LORD FINLATER'S REEL. Scottish, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Lord Finlater was the uncle of Sir James Grant's wife, Joan Duff, and a political ally of Grant (the Grant clan and their associates figure prominently in the titles of Angus Cumming's 1780 volume).
