RAVEN THROUGH THE BOG, THE. AKA and see “Bealltaine,” “Butchers of Bristol (2) (The),” “Geary's Hornpipe,” “Mullingar Races (2),” “Rover through the Bog (The),” “Taylor's Hornpipe.” Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title is a mishearing of or play on the title “Rover through the Bog.” The first strain is shared with "Mullingar Races (2), although the second strains differ noticeably.
