REEL DU PRINTEMPS (Springtime Reel). AKA and see "Reel des éboulements," "Reel éboulement." French-Canadian, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune under the "Reel du printemps" title was recorded by Montreal fiddler Joseph Allard (1865-1947) for Victor records in 1944 (released on the Bluebird label), however, it is a popular session tune under the title "Reel éboulement" (The Landslide).
