ANYTHING FOR JOHN JOE. Irish, Reel. D Mixolydian (Breathnach, Moylan): D Major (Cranitch, Tubridy). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Cranitch, Tubridy): AAB (Mallinson): AA'B (Breathnach, Moylan). A reel from the Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border. Source Johnny O'Leary usually paired this tune with "Johnny When You Die (1)," calling the pair "The Sliabh Luachra Reels."
