REEL DE PÈRE LÉON. AKA “Pere Leon.” French-Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Songer): AB (Silberberg). A reel from the repertoire of La famille Soucy, named for Pierre-Léon Cantin, who played the piece. Gilles Cantin, a member of La Bottine Souriante from 1977-1981, was his son.
