LADY SCOTT'S REEL [1]. Scottish, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Borders fiddler-composer biography:John Pringle (c. 1770-c. 1807), who dedicated his second collection to Lady Scott of Ancrum (nee Harriet Graham). See Annotation:Lady Scott’s Strathspey for more. Pringle wrote several tunes for members of the family (see also "Miss Scott of Ancrum’s Reel," "Mr. John Scott's Reel," "Miss H. Scott’s Strathspey,".
