Back to Quarryman (The)
QUARRYMAN, THE. English, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. The tune was composed by Charlie Sherrit (Aberdeen), popularized by Borders fiddler Willie Taylor and the Shepherds (Will Atkinson, Joe Hutton & Willie Taylor). See also Sherrit's composition "Scordiness."
