REEL EN SOL d’ANDRÉ ALAIN [1]. French-Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB. The second strain of the tune is 'crooked' or irregular, with the third measure having an extra beat.

Source for notated version: - André Alain (1931-2000, St-Basile, Portneuf area, Québec), who probably had the tune from his uncle Armand Chastenay [Remon & Bouchard].
