MIDNIGHT RAMBLE [2], THE. English, Jig. C Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. There are several other tunes by this name in country dance repertoire, however, this particular melody seems unique to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson's 1765 collection.
