Levey's First Collection (1858, No. 100). Levey printed it again in his second collection (1873), this time under the title "Rouse It," in the key of F. A version of the jig appears in the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Canon James Goodman (County Cork) as "McCarthy's Jig." See also an untitled 'hop jig' in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883, p. 100).
