MACLACHLAN'S RANT. AKA - "McLachlan's Rant." Scottish, Strathspey. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of the tune in print in Neil Stewart's A Collection of Strathspey Reels (1761, p. 29).
