FANNY/FANNIE HILL. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; southwestern Va., south-western Ky. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB (Titon): AABB (Phillips). 'Revival' sources are from Galax fiddler John Patterson. Jeff Titon says the Phelps/Butler version is closely related to "Cumberland Gap."

Source for notated version: John Patterson [Phillips]; Jake Phelps {1885-1977} and Street Butler {1904-1977} (Pea Ridge, Todd County, south-western Ky. 1965) [Titon].
