REBEL(S) RAID [2]. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. G Major {Titon}: D Major ('A' part) & D Major/Mixolydian ('B' part) {Phillips}. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Titon): AABB’ (Phillips). The source for the tune is Kentucky fiddler Bill Stepp (1875-1947) who was recorded by Alan and Elizabeth Lomax for the Library of Congress in 1937. The sole source for this tune is Stepp, and the melody is unrelated to other pieces with the title "Rebel Raid."
