CATCH AND KISS THE ROMP (Nach beir thu air a'bhana mhearlach). Scottish, Pipe Reel. C Mixolydian (Athole, Fraser, Kerr): D Mixolydian (Johnson). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Fraser, Johnson, Kohler): AABB' (Athole, Kerr). The tune begins on an A minor chord in the 'A' part, but cadences on a 'D' major chord. The 'B' part is double tonic, 'D' and 'C' chords. This tune "is one of the pipe reels mentioned in Note 13, many of which he (Fraser's father) acquired during his service in Canada, in a corps of Caledonians, inspired with their success" (Fraser).
