Tune properties and standard notation
FAT MEAT AND DUMPLINGS. AKA - "Fat Back Meat and Dumplings". AKA and see "Knocking on the Door." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Missouri. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Siblerberg): AABB (Christeson, Phillips): AA'BB' (Beisswenger & McCann). The tune is related to "Green Corn." Some fiddlers play all or some of the 'f' notes sharp instead of natural. Marimac 9017, Vesta Johnson (Mo.) - "Down Home Rag."
