Tune properties and standard notation
FEMALE SAYLOR/SAILOR, THE. English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Dorian. Standard tuning. AAB (Barnes): AABB' (Johnson). The tune dates to 1710, when it appeared in Raoul Auger Feuillet's For the Further Improvement of Dancing, published in London by the firm of Walsh & Randall.
