QUADRILLE CANADIEN -- 2ÈME PARTIE. AKA and see "Partie de quadrille de Ste-Blandine." French-Canadian, Quadrille (cut or 2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. The tune was recorded by Montreal fiddler Isidore Soucy (1899-1962) in 1926 as the second figure of his "Quadrille Canadien." Ten years later Soucy re-recorded it under the title "Partie de quadrille de Ste-Blandine." Duval researcher Jean Duval believes it is a tune Soucy learned as a young man before his move to Montreal[1].
