He paired it with "Maud Millar." However, it is common in modern session playing to pair "The Skylark" with "Roaring Mary" (in that order), after accordion player Joe Cooley who popularized it in his 1963 set "Tulla Reel"/"The Skylark"/"Roaring Mary."
