GARTHLAND. Scottish, Strathspey; English, Reel. England, North-West. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Cole, Knowles, Skye): AAB (Athole, Gow, Hunter): AABB' (Kerr). Composed by James MacDonald, a contemporary of Niel Gow who earned his living playing and composing.
